1. The service

Akon Legal is a technology platform that helps users reach independent advocates for consultations and document drafting. Akon Legal is not a law firm, and no advocate–client relationship exists between you and Akontec Synergy Pvt Ltd.

2. Advocates

Advocates listed on the platform are independent professionals responsible for their own advice and conduct. We verify enrolment but do not guarantee any outcome.

3. Bookings & payments

Fees are shown before payment and include applicable platform charges; GST is extra. Missed consultations by an advocate are refunded or rescheduled free. Court fees, stamp duty and government charges are payable at actuals.

4. Your responsibilities

Provide accurate facts and documents, keep your login secure and do not use the platform for unlawful purposes.

5. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the platform fee paid for the booking in question.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law, and courts in Chennai have exclusive jurisdiction.
